Terms & Conditions
1. All Sales Final & Refund Policy
Please verify that your selected plan thoroughly meets your requirements prior to purchase. Due to the digital nature and copyright-protected format of our products, all sales through Alberta House Plans are final. We do not provide refunds, credits, or exchanges once order fulfillment has commenced or digital files have been delivered.
2. Building Codes, Engineering, and Municipal Permitting
Our plans are developed in accordance with standard residential design practices and general provisions of the National Building Code – Alberta Edition (NBC(AE)) and Part 9 of the National Building Code of Canada. However, local building requirements, zoning bylaws, site-specific setbacks, snow loads, wind loads, and geotechnical considerations vary significantly across municipalities and regional districts, and our plans are not guaranteed to match your specific site conditions.

Stock plans may not include all site-specific details or documentation required by your local safety codes officer or permitting authority. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure the final drawings comply with all applicable municipal, provincial, and safety code requirements. Obtaining a development permit and building permit may require you to retain a local licensed professional engineer to review, site-adapt, or structurally stamp the plans.

Please contact us to discuss changes according to your needs. All changes required for specific site conditions will be made at an additional cost.
